Professional experience
I started my therapeutic path in Mississauga, Canada, working for two years with seniors as an activity person. After returning to Poland, I worked as a psychologist in centers providing services and help for people struggling with mental, intellectual or neurological disabilities in the Podkarpackie and then Lublin voivodeships. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to help those affected by the crisis, domestic violence as part of the crisis intervention organized at PCPR. I conducted various trainings and gave psychological support to long-term unemployed people threatened by marginalization and social exclusion, as well as parents experiencing problems in raising their own children. I also conducted individual therapy for people affected by a psychological crisis, long-term somatic illness. Additionally, for four years I worked as an engineering and technical consultant at the Department of Applied Psychology at the Medical University of Lublin. As part of my doctoral studies, I have been conducting psychology classes for Polish and English-speaking students.
